Meditation Course
Meditation is a mysterious ladder which reaches from restlessness to abiding peace, from ignorance to knowledge.” – Swami Sivananda

Meditation is considered the most important of all the yoga techniques and is an invaluable tool for peace of mind and emotional balance. This 4-week course provides instruction in the basic meditation techniques and theory for starting a personal meditation practice.

It strengthens the way we connect thoughts and ideas in the brain - making it easier to grasp difficult, complex or confusing concepts. The Bhagavad Gita is one of the most important philosophical texts of yoga and was central to Ghandi’s life and thought. The Bhagavad Gita shows how we can make every moment of our daily life a living expression of yoga. This sacred text teaches us how to live in the world, do our duties and find balance and joy through detachment. Each session of this 4-session course includes Gita chanting.
