Gentle Yoga
Yoga for relaxation and for people with limited flexibility
with Anneke

This special workshop is perfect for people with limited flexibility or who are experiencing stiffness. It is also a nice introduction to gentle exercises for seniors and for people who have difficulty exercising. Gentle Yoga can also be helpful if you have injuries, post surgery, or if you are in disease recovery. People who are overweight can also benefit. The emphasis will be on focus and breath, as we move the energy of the body through traditional poses, modifying according to the capacity of those in attendance. The benefits are multiple: increased flexibility; improved mobility of the joints; more prana or healing energy available to the different parts of the body, including the internal organs; increased awareness; increased connection with the body; better self care; increased clarity of mind; deeper relaxation and sense of well being.
