Founded by Swami
Vishnudevananda in 1958, the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers are
pioneers of Yoga in England (since 1972), Austria (since 1972), Germany (since 1973),
France(since 1977), Switzerland (1975) and Spain (since 1973) as well as through
Sivananda Yoga trained teachers in many other European countries.
