| "Thus always keeping the mind balanced, the Yogi, with the mind controlled, attains to the peace abiding in Me, which culminates in liberation."
(Chapter VI: 15)
We will be studying chapter 6 of the Gita, the 'Yoga of Meditation'. This chapter contains practical instructions on how to prepare ourselves
for meditation, the necessary requisites, and the joy of being in tune with the Divine Law
Join us and learn precious lessons about how to conduct your life from one of the most widely read ancient scriptures, the Bhagavad Gita. In this epic, life is compared
to a battlefield and clear instruction is given on how to become a spiritual warrior, well-equipped to fight the inner battle, guided by divine wisdom. Poetic, inspiring and
uplifting, this small 'bible' can change your life forever. All are welcome, including those who are not familiar with this scripture.

| Forgiveness is a path of healing, a therapy. It can be for an individual, a group, a nation, or the whole world. It is "letting go" of emotional
baggage we have been carrying for years. It is liberating. It is empowering. But...we must do it right. We can live with bitterness, anger, frustration, resentment
and even revengefulness, but consider how much self-damage these emotions cause. To our body, to our mind, and to our soul? Do we really want to hold onto these
destructive feelings and beliefs? Many of us live under the stress, anxiety, inner unrest, discomfort, pain and suffering from past hurt. We have the option of staying hurt or
dealing with our personal issues. How else can we be truly free?
First: Note the 3 nots:
Forgiveness is not condoning someone else's hurtful behaviour
Forgiveness does not mean that the perpetrator should not be punished
Forgiveness does not require or expect reconciliatio
We will investigate the following:
What is meant by forgiving?
What are we forgiving for?
Why are we forgiving?
How do we forgive?
What happens after we have forgiven?
Answers to these questions are not only surprising and fascinating but exciting too! Yoga methods are practical and simple. We can all learn how to free ourselves from pas
injuries and move on happily.

| The Bhagavad Gita is a superb exposition of the synthesis of all paths of yoga.
Its teachings are full of deep philosophy and practical advice for all life situations; broad,
universal and sublime. It is divine wisdom addressed to humankind for all ages, to help solve
and face the ever-present problems of birth, death, suffering, fear, bondage, love and hate.
It enables us to liberate ourselves from all limiting factors and to reach a state of perfect
balance, inner stability and mental peace,"Just as the dark, unfathomable depths of the ocean contain the most precious pearls,
so also the Gita contains spiritual gems of incalculable value" Swami Sivananda
