  The Mountain Resort
The course will be conducted in Phu Chaisai Mountain Resort & Spa, one of the first boutique hotels in the North of Thailand. The award-winning resort is set in on a gradually sloping hill surrounded by Chiang Rai’s untouched vegetation and  has emerged as a leading eco-friendly accommodation, offering guests, a much-needed break from the confines of city life. The resort aims to be an environmentally-friendly and self-sufficient  and has gone beyond the green concept starting from design, construction, and interior décor to even having a green lifestyle of cultivating a tea plantation, gardening, herbs and fruit farm for our own cuisine selection. The drinking water undergoes a Reverse Osmosis (RO) process – a highly recognized water purification system, guaranteeing safe consumption. The cottages are built completely from bamboo, terracotta clay, and thatched roof, all locally acquired. The resort also supports the local community by employing local villagers and hill tribes. By training the local staff with hospitality, culinary, and service skills; Phu Chaisai not only gives back to the surrounding community but guests can expect to receive a warm welcome and pleasant stay with a touch of Thailand’s northern tradition. The resort kitchen provides carefully prepared Thai lacto-vegetarian meals twice daily, which are moderately spiced.

The resort is located 45 minutes from the airport and the city of Chiang Rai.
