The practice of integral Yoga in the heart of nature leads to deep relaxation and inner renewal.
It brings lasting peace. Morning meditation elevates the mind while breathing exercises purify the lungs and revitalize every cell of the body.

Yoga exercises release tension in muscles, rejuvenate the heart and bring flexibility and energy. Relaxation helps to overcome the stress and challenges of modern life. Vegetarian food give energy and calm to body and mind. You can visit at anytime and stay as long as you want.

Yoga Retreats are an ideal way to develop a positive attitude towards life and are open to all levels, from beginners to advanced.

Daily schedule

11am Karma yoga (help in the Ashram) 8pm Meditation, chanting and lecture

 

Other activities at the Ashram

Year-round hiking, visit of nearby historic Castles of the Loire Valley and French gardens, reading and quiet time for introspection. A small library is at your disposal. Bicycles are available for rent. In the boutique you will find literature on yoga, meditation and health and yoga accessories like meditation cushions, yoga mats, yoga outfits and spiritual music.

Practical information

You may arrive on any day and stay as long as you wish. The rooms are simple yet comfortable ; you are also welcome to pitch your tent on the Ashram grounds.

The food is vegetarian ; two balanced meals are served daily.

Your stay at the Ashram requires a sincere interest in the yogic life style. Participation in the morning and evening meditation and the two yoga classes is expected from all visitors to the Ashram. We welcome beginning yoga practitioners. The classes and lectures are in English and French with simultaneous translation into both languages.

Yoga and Relaxation Weekends

  • Take a short break from the stress of city life and rejuvenate in nature.
  • Every weekend from January 1st to 31 October and from December 1 to 31
  • Yoga and relaxation weekends start with the afternoon class at 4 pm and the departure time on Sunday is at 3 pm.
