How to get to the Ashram

1. Shuttle from the Paris airports and train stations

Reserve the shuttle taxi Routair or Air Flash for a pick-up at one of the two Paris airports with direct service to the Ashram. Reserve well in advance.

2. From the Paris airports to the train station (Gare d’Austerlitz)

From the Charles de Gaulle airport, take the RER B direction Paris and get off at Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame (40 minutes). At Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame take RER C direction Saint Martin d’Etampes to Gare d’Austerlitz (5 minutes).

From Orly airport, take the train Orly Val and get off at Anthony (10minutes). At Anthony, take the RER B until Saint Michel-Notre-Dame (20 minutes), from there take the RER C until Gare d’Austerlitz (5 minutes).

3. By train from Paris to « Les Aubrais » (the closest station to the Ashram)

From Gare d'Austerlitz, take the train to les Aubrais which takes one hour. From there, take a bus (Car Dunois) to Neuville aux bois which takes half an hour. Get off at the “stade” (stadium) in the village of Neuville aux Bois. From there take a taxi to the Ashram which takes another 5 minutes.

It is advisable to reserve the taxi in advance on 02 38 91 04 38. You can also take a taxi from the train station to the ashram (about 35 €), there is a taxi stand at the station.

Pick-up from the train station on Fridays

Once a week - on Friday - the Ashram organizes a pick-up from Les Aubrais. If you take the train on Friday at 1.24 pm from train station Austerlitz in Paris which reaches train station Les Aubrais at 2.31 pm, then a car you can come to pick you up. The price for the pick-up is 30 euros, this amount can be divided by the number of people being picked up. If you want to use this service, then please mention this when booking.

If you take another train on Friday and continue by bus to the village of Neuville aux bois, then a car can come to pick you up at the bus stop. The price for the pick-up is 5 euros, this amount can be divided by the number of people being picked up. If you want to use this service that is only offered on Fridays, then please mention this when booking.

4. Bus schedule Cars Ulysse/Dunois timetable

Valid from 5 September 2011 onwards.
Departure from Les Aubrais, arrival Neuville aux Bois stadium - 4,70 € one way.

5. By car from Paris

From Paris take the motorway A10 direction Bordeaux to Artenay (extit 13). From there, take the D5 direction Neuville-aux-bois; after Villerau at the roundabout take the second to the right direction Bougy-lez-Neuville (D 297). After Bougy you will pass through a small wood, turn left into the impasse du Bignon, the entrance to the Ashram is after 100 m . (Attention: certain GPS systems do not recognize “impasse du Bignon”). If you are in Neuville-aux-Bois, take the D11 direction Checy; take the first right (D8) direction Rebrechien; take the first right direction Bougy-lez-Neuville; the Ashram is just before Bougy at the right.
