The Srimad Bhagavata Purana is a famous Yoga scripture and contains 18000 verses which emit the subtle perfume of universal love and knowledge. During seven evenings parts of the scripture will be sung and commented. This is called Bhagavata Saptaha. The music, the words of wisdom and the chanting create a magical atmosphere in which the heart can open and intuition be awakened. The teaching gives access to the deep meaning of life. Sri Venugopal Goswami comes from a tradition dating back more than 500 years. His father initiated him into the teachings of the Bhakti scriptures in the Radha Raman Temple. Sri Venugopal Goswami spent many years studying under the world-famous Indian vocalist Pandit Jasraj, a master interpreter of classical Hindustani music and the recipient of numerous international awards.
