The Advanced Yoga Teachers’ Training Course allows graduates from the Sivananda Yoga Teachers’ Training Course to deepen their spiritual knowledge during four weeks of intense yoga practice and study of vedanta philosophy. Personal and individual instruction and yogic self-discipline are an integral part of the course.

Upon graduation you will receive a certificate from the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres.

The course is officially certified by the Yoga Alliance (based in the United States) for the 500 hours standard for Registered Yoga Schools (RYS).

The teachers
The course is conducted by Swami Durgananda, Swami Sivadasananda and Swami Kailasananda, Yoga Acharyas, senior disciples of Swami Vishnudevananda who received special training in teaching this course.

Swami Durgananda is Yoga Acharya (spiritual teacher )
of the European Sivananda Centres. She teaches yoga
and philosophy in the Teachers Training Courses throughout the world.

Swami Sivadasananda is Yoga Acharya in Europe. He teaches asanas and pranayama with dynamism, precision and joy.

Swami Kailasananda is Yoga Acharya in Europe and teaches yoga and philosophy in the Sivananda Teachers Training Courses.

Other experienced swamis and yoga teachers from the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta centres complete the teaching team.

Registration
Please telephone for an application form or download the form. Return the form together with a deposit of 500 €. Payment by cash, credit card, international bank transfer or by French cheque. Balance is due four weeks before the beginning of the course. No refund is possible in case of cancellation or early departure but a credit note can be given minus an administrative fee of 150 €.

What to bring
« The Complete Illustrated Book of Yoga » and « Meditation and Mantras » by Swami Vishnudevananda, the Sivananda Yoga Teachers Training Manual and your teachers’ uniform.
These books are available at our centres and Ashrams.

Also: yoga mat, meditation cushion (available in our boutique), towel, writing-pad and pens, blanket, flashlight, warm and comfortable clothes, slippers and comfortable shoes for walking.
