The
Center welcomes those new to Yoga and provides several ways for you to
get an introduction to the practice:
- Take a free trial
class. For complete beginners we recommend our beginner drop-in classes
on Saturday and Sunday.
- Visit one of our
Open House events. This free event includes
a talk and demonstration, a yoga class and a talk on meditation with
practice. We provide a free vegetarian meal for Open House participants.
- Sign up for one
of our beginner courses (Yoga 1).
These courses provide a complete introduction to the practice and include
instruction in yoga postures (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama).
