Yoga Teachers' Training Course Graduates of the Yoga Teachers' Training Course can register as a Registered  Yoga Teacher (RYT) at the two-hundred hour level, RYT200. Advanced Yoga Teachers' Training Course Graduates of the Advanced Yoga Teachers' Training Course can register with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) at the five-hundred hour level, RYT500. Yoga Alliance registers Yoga teachers who demonstrate qualifications that meet minimum U.S. teaching standards established by the organization’s founding members.
Yoga Alliance  also registers Yoga schools whose teacher training programs address those standards, assuring graduates are well-qualified to teach the practicing public. Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat is a Yoga Alliance registered school.
