Kids & Teens Yoga Classes

Our yoga classes for kids and teens are comprised of traditional yoga poses and breathing, concentration and relaxation exercises, taught in a fun and engaging manner. Yoga promotes a sense of calm and emotional wellness in children, resulting in a sense of peace and a positive outlook. Aside from the physical benefits, yoga helps children to face in a better attitude their daily issues.

Swami Vishnudevananda used to say that if children learn to disciplinate their mind and body early in the childhood, they would be able to develop love, tolerance, patience and understanding toward all the Creation.

With Yoga and his tools, he taught them how to lead a healthy, simple and joyful life.

Kids learn yoga postures, breathing and relaxation as well as have fun playing yoga games with their friends.They learn simple yoga postures and relaxation techniques. Lots of fun!

Teens

We are delighted to announce that we will be offering a teen yoga class starting Septembersivananda-yoga-montreal-teens-ados21st and is open to youth between 14-16 years old

What to expect from the course?

Teens will learn about the five points of yoga and how it can relate to their daily lives. Classes are designed to be fun and engaging for youth.

This course will serve to prepare teens for the sivananda series as well as give them an opportunity to recharge their bodies each week. In class students will practice yoga asanas, meditation, reflection and karma yoga.
