Yoga Retreat In the City

Join us for a mini yoga retreat that will encompass a day at the ashram! The day will be structured so you can practice the 5 points of yoga: Proper exercise and proper breathing through gentle/intermediate yoga classes,proper relaxation in a 1 hour deep relaxation workshop, proper diet with a healthy and balanced vegetarian meal and ending the day with workshops on positive thinking and meditation.

Subtle Body Anatomy and Yoga Practices

Greater system of yoga views human being not just as a physical body, but as a collection of three bodies that encases the soul. We will discuss the three bodies and their related five sheaths, impact of different yoga practices on the subtle layers.

Structure Your Sadhana

In this 2 part workshop, you will get to structure your own practice based on your natural tendencies, availability of time, and eagerness to reach results. Discipline is key to successful development so beginners would benefit from
these workhops.

Satsang with Swami Kailasananda

“Mantras & tools to raise the vibratory level” with Swami Kailasananda.

Swami Kailasananda, Yoga Acharya, is a long time disciple of Swami Vishnudevananda and director of the Sivananda Yoga Ashram in Orleans, France. She studied Sanskrit in depth and has been teaching in yoga teacher trainings for many years. She is the author of the book “The Yoga of Meditation”. Free program.

Yoga for the Shoulders

In this workshop, we will focus on releasing the stress and tension stored in our neck and shoulder muscles, exploring the various postures that will help relieve and increase their strength and flexibility.

Psychodynamics of Sun Salutations

Movements and rhythms are characteristics of the universe and we have our biological rhythms of our body. Discussions in this workshop will focus on the impact of sun salutation in the internal rhythms of our body. How this practice can help us to achieve harmony with outer rhythms of day and night, maintaining the inner balance to face the outer demands and forces.
