A yoga retreat
is an ideal way to unwind and recharge. It will give
you a tremendous boost and assist in bringing you greater
flexibility, concentration and a sense of well-being.
Join us for our annual Summer
Yoga Retreat at Gaunts House, situated in 2,000 acres
of beautiful Dorset countryside, only two hours from
London. Based on the 5 points for radiant health and
inner peace of Swami Vish
nu-devananda,
the daily schedule
has been followed in Sivananda Ashrams and Centres for
over 40 years and has helped countless yogic practitioners
to stay strong and inspired in their practice.
The retreat starts on Thursday
at 4pm and finishes on Sunday at 6.30pm.

Information
To book
Please send a £50 deposit to secure your place to the
Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre in London. Full payment
is due two weeks before arrival. No refunds can be given
for cancellation unless the place can be reallocated.
Cheques to be made out to SYVC. Cards accepted: Visa,
Mastercard, Switch and Delta.
What to Bring
Comfortable clothes, comfortable shoes/sandals/walking
shoes, towels and toiletries, yoga mat, meditation shawl,
rainwear, cushion to sit on. Yoga mats, cushions, books,
tapes, T-shirts and yoga trousers as well as book and
tapes will be on sale during the retreat.
Classes
Classes are divided into groups to allow people to participate
in classes at their own level. Beginners are welcome.
Accommodation
Simple and comfortable in mainly dormitories, some double
rooms. Meals Simple nutritious and delicious vegetarian
food will be served twice daily.
Retreat Rules
To maintain the spiritual atmosphere, no meat, fish or
eggs are allowed. No smoking, alcohol or drugs. Attendance
at both meditations and yoga classes is mandatory. |
