This popular course provides instruction in the basic techniques and theory for beginning your meditation practice. Meditation is considered the most important of all the yoga techniques and is an invaluable tool for emotional balance and peace of mind.
 
Positive Thinking
The yogic understanding of laws and dynamics of thought has helped countless persons to find new meaning in their daily lives. This course is filled with many simple, practical techniques for facing both inner and outer obstacles through an understanding of the transformative power of thought.

Vedanta Study Group

Vedanta philosophy is one of the oldest philosophical systems of the world and teaches the unity of all life and all religions. It is the foundation of Yoga practice and proclaims that peace and bliss lie within oneself. This course will introduce the basic concepts of Vedanta philosophy. Each session will include meditation and Mantra chanting. 

Bhagavad Gita

The Bhagavad Gita is the most popular of all the Yogic scriptures.
It contains in its 701 verses the timeless wisdom of Karma (action), Bhakti (devotion) and Jnana (knowledge). This course is highly recommended for those taking the Sivananda Teacher’s Training Course.
