Drop-in Classes Description
  • 30 yoga classes per week, classes to suit all levels
  • No advance booking
  • 90 minutes classes: pranayama (breathing exercises),
    surya namaskar (sun salutation), asanas (yoga postures),
    deep relaxation with autosuggestion
  • Individual guidance and corrections by Sivananda teachers
Drop-in Class Breathing exercises, sun salutation, twelve basic postures with simple variations, deep relaxation with autosuggestion with guidance and corrections by a teacher.
For people who have prior yoga experience.
Drop-in with Meditation Short meditation at the end of the class.
Advanced Prolonged holding of the twelve basic postures, advanced variations, intensive breathing exercises. Practice of headstand required.
Pensioners A gentle practice of the breathing exercises and the basic postures with longer relaxation.
Drop-in Beginners Class A very gentle yoga practice of breathing exercises and yoga postures including eye and neck exercises.
Pregnancy Classical yoga postures adapted for pregnancy. It is advisable to start classes after the first trimester. Contact the centre for more details.
Kids A playful yoga practice for children between 7 and 12. The class includes postures, breathing, relaxation, meditation, chanting and storytelling.

Classes are at 4pm on the following dates:
October 4, October 18, November 8, November 22, December 6,
December 20, January 10, January 24, February 7, February 28, March 14
Satsang/Meditation Silent group meditation, meditative chanting, lecture on the yoga scriptures.
Free of charge. Beginners are welcome.
