The centre offers drop-in classes every day of the week. They are open to everyone. You can choose a class to suit your level at a time which is convenient - morning, afternoon or evening. The schedule of classes is as follows.

 CLASS DESCRIPTION
Intermediate:

Twelve basic postures with variations, breathing exercises and relaxation.

Dynamic: Variations to increase strength, flexibility and breath control.

Plus: Short meditation at the end of the class

Headstand: emphasis headstand practice. Level 2 or instructor approval required

Advanced 1 & 2:

Twelve basic postures with advanced variations, breathing exercises and relaxation. Practice of headstand required. Advanced 1 - 1.5 hours  Advanced 2 - 2 hours

Gentle/Pensioners: Practice of postures, breathing and relaxation for those with limited mobility.
Pregnancy: Yoga exercises adapted for pregnancy. Open to all levels, suitable for beginners.It is advisable to begin classes after the first trimester. Contact the Centre for more details.
Kids: Yoga adapted for children. Practice includes postures, breathing, relaxation, meditation, chanting and storytelling. Open to children ages 7 to 12.

Free Introductory
Taster Class
Free introduction to those new to the Sivananda Centres. Suitable for complete beginners and intermediate students.
Satsang: Group Meditation. Consists of 20-30 minutes of meditation, 45 minutes of mantra chanting, and a talk on Yoga the philosophy. Open to all. Special programmes may replace Satsangs from time to time. Please contact the centre to confirm dates and times.
Community Class: Intermediate class at a reduced price
Level 1 Complete beginner - Basic breathing techniques, Sun Salutation, basic postures, relaxation techniques.
Level 2 Beginner/Intermediate - Pranayama (breathing exercises), Sun Salutation, Basic postures with beginner variations, introduction to headstand, relaxation techniques.
Level 3 Intermediate - Pranayama, Sun Salutation, basic postures with variations, headstand preparation and practice, relaxation techniques.
