ESSENTIALS OF YOGA PRACTICE AND
PHILOSOPHY |
In this series of 5
classes, we will explore the core teachings of the classical yoga
approach as taught by Swami Sivananda (1887-1963) and his disciple,
Swami Vishnudevananda (1927-1993).

four paths
- Importance of satsang,
meditation and chanting
- Sivananda approach to yoga
asanas
- Building a daily yoga
practice (sadhana)
- Science of the mind, yoga
psychology
- Who am I? The search for
happiness
The course will benefit anyone
who is serious about their personal yoga practice and who wishes to
deepen their understanding of yoga as a spiritual science. |

course will be taught by Vidya Chaitanya, a yogini for 20 years
and qualified doctor and psychiatrist.
