Camille Harris, L.Ac.

Licensed Acupuncturist, Herbalist, Educator

“Growing up on a farm in California gave me a deep appreciation for the power of nature and its healing abilities. Though I took a slight detour in my twenties to work in the corporate world, I finally made my way back to the source . . . Nature.  Today my focus as an acupuncturist and educator is to reconnect people back to nature, to reconnect them to the true source of healing. Chinese Medicine has a wonderful system of preventative medicine built into its paradigm called the ‘three pillars of health; movement, meditation, and seasonal nutrition’. These principles inform everything I do, from teaching to treating patients and to my own personal journey in this life”.

Camille is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in the state of California. She has been in the healing arts for 15 years as a massage therapist and a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 8 years and believes in the classic approach to wellness. She maintains a private practice in Venice.

As a faculty member of both Emperors College of Traditional Oriental Medicine and the Shaitsu School of Santa Monica, her focus is to empower and educate the student in the ancient theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She teaches these powerful tools to assist the healer in treating their patients but more importantly to advocate for self care.

To nurture her passion for nature, Camille sits on the advisory committee of the Learning Garden in Venice, were she grows medicinal herbs.

She is also the co-founder and Chair of One World Health Project (www.owhp.org), a non-profit organization committed to reaching out locally to schools and the community through lectures and workshops on the benefits of TCM as a proven preventative care paradigm.
