Kriyas are very ancient Yogic cleansing techniques. Their practice
helps remove toxins and impurities from the body. In the Hatha- Yoga
scripture called “Hatha-Yoga Pradipika”, the study and practice
of Kriyas come actually before the practice of Asanas (yoga postures)
and Pranayama (breathing).
Purifying the body has the added benefit of enhancing your Asana
and Pranayama practice. There are 6 main Kriyas, all affecting a
different part of the body. Most of them are very easy and pleasant
to do.
Based on chapter
3 of the Complete Illustrated Guide to Yoga, this
workshop will be followed by instructions on how to make
nutritious raw super food smoothies.
Bring your neti pot if you have one - neti pots and kriya kits will
be available in the boutique.
You are advised to eat only lightly, at least two hours before the
workshop ...
