Kriya Workshop
Kriyas are very ancient Yogic cleansing techniques. Their practice
helps remove toxins and impurities from the body. In the Hatha-Yoga
scripture called “Hatha-Yoga Pradipika”, the study and practice
of Kriyas come actually before the practice of Asanas (yoga postures)
and Pranayama (breathing).
Purifying the body has the added benefit of enhancing your Asana
and Pranayama practice. There are 6 main Kriyas, all affecting a
different part of the body. Most of them are very easy and pleasant
to do.
Certain items required for this workshop are available for purchase
from the Center. No previous knowledge of yoga is required - all
are welcome.
This workshop is 90 minutes in length.
