Headstand Workshop
with Video Feedback
Learn how to master one of the most important yoga postures. The
Headstand (Sirshasana) is called "The King of Asanas" because it
has profound psychic, physical, and psychological effects.
This workshop is a combination of theory and practice,
and we'll work with video to be able to better visualize the
adjustments needed to your pose. You will learn how to hold the asana
longer; alignment - how to work with balance rather than strength,
variations, and much more.
The headstand workshop is open to beginners, and to all who wish
to improve their headstand.
Emphasis
is on individual attention, so the class size is limited to 5
participants. Please call the center and
reserve your space in advance!
The headstand workshop was
extremely helpful to me. The practical instruction and gentle
encouragement relieved my nervousness and the videotaping was very
effective. The workshop was uncomplicated and fun and I highly
recommend it for anyone who wants to learn the headstand pose. -
