Yoga and the Environment
This course was held at the Center
weekly for five sessions over the summer (2008) with dynamic speaker
and Environmental Changemakers co-founder Joanne Poyourow. The
information-packed sessions covered: The Three R's (Reduce, Reuse,
Recycle), Greener Gourmet, Water Wisdom, Power Possibilities and
Transportation Solutions. Joanne's research is impeccable, her
enthusiasm contagious and her vision practical, far-thinking and
creative! She stresses how our "normal" behaviors are leading us to
"outrageously" unsustainable lifestyles.
