Introduction to Meditation

This course for beginners comprises a detailed introduction to concentration techniques and a guided practice of meditation.

• The 12 steps of meditation
• How to find inner peace?
• The mantras, tools for meditation.

Prerequisite: level Yoga 1

Recommended Reading: "Meditation and Mantras" by Swami Vishnudevananda

Price: Course with 4 sessions, 90 minutes each: 125 Fr.
• 10% reduction for students and members.
• If you register for two courses at the same time, you pay 225 frs.

The Power of Thought

Thought is the most powerful force in the universe. We can participate in this force by developing Self-confidence, positive thought habits, a new vision on life, and the ability to face challenges.

• The nature of thought
• How to reduce negative thoughts
• How to deal with fear and anger
• Concentration exercises

A puja is a form of meditation on an object outside who is worshiped as a symbol.
The emerging energy is directed inward.
A yantra is a geometric symbol of meditation associated with the Divine. It represents the subtle energy of 5 elements.

Tuesdays at 8:00 pm (5 weeks)

• MAHABHARATA: Dharma, Karma and Wisdom.
• Conversations in the Mahabharata: Bhagavad Gita and others.
• Yogic lifestyle and ethics.

This class includes 15 minutes of mantra singing and 15 minutes of meditation.
