Yoga and Biking with Swami Shivabhaktananda 14 - 16 June
Cycling enthusiasts who practice yoga can develop flexibility, core strength and balance along with a calm mind. Participate in the daily ashram schedule along with time spent on bikes for an invigorating weekend at the ashram. Bring your own bicycle (mountain) or rent from the ashram.
Juice Fasting Retreat with Suzanne Cliche 14 - 21 June
Along with all the regular activities of the ashram, this one week detoxification programme will regenerate the body, the mind and the soul. Five days we will fast on fresh juice and vegetable broth and two days we will use for reintroduction to solid food. In this course we will learn about live and raw food, sprouts etc. Also the programme includes herbs for colon cleansing and one massage.
Sadhana Intensive 14 - 28 June
Unique in the West, this course for Sivananda-certified teachers follows a program devised by Swami Vishnudevananda based on his own intensive hatha yoga sadhana in the Himalayas. Students work up to eight hours of practice a day balanced by the study of scriptures. Successful graduates receive a certificate from the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre.
