A minimum of 3 students is usually required to run a course or workshop.
We prefer registration in advance with deposit or full payment. Full payment is required at the time of course commencement.
If you would like to try a class before registering for Yoga 1, drop in and try an open class for free or come along to the Open House - Introductory session.
Students aged 22 or below benefit from a 10% discount on classes and courses with valid ID. Children aged 16 or below receive 40% discount except for Kids Classes.
Payments
We accept cash and cheque payments only. No credit card payments are accepted. Cheques should be payable to Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Nataraja Society. Transfer between courses incurs a Rs 50 fee.
Payments are not cash refundable.
Refunds / Cancellations
No refunds under any circumstances. A credit note will be issued in the event of cancellation up to 48 hours before the commencement of the course. This may be used for any other class/course but can not be used to purchase boutique items.
Missed Classes
Missed classes during courses can not be made up or substituted with classes from another course or with open classes.
Mats
The Centre provides asana mats for classes. However to maintain hygiene please bring your own asana mat or a large towel.
For Your Benefit
Please arrive on time and stay until the end of class
Avoid leaving the room during the class
Strictly keep you cellphone switched off - dedicate this time to your complete peace of mind
Avoid talking in the class
Make sure not to eat for 2 to 3 hours before class
Dress in loose ideally cotton clothing with no restricting belts or collars (usual ashram / temple rules apply at the centre - modest dress and no shoes inside)
No smoking, drinking, social drugs, non-veg eatables, abusive language or behaviour
Help maintain the peaceful, spiritual atmosphere of the Centre by reading and complying with the Centre rules and guidelines.
