Yoga of Recovery Weekend Workshops

This unique program combines the wisdom of Yoga, meditation and the ancient Indian healing system of Ayurveda with the tools of 12-Step recovery programs. Learn about this ground-breaking integrated approach to recovery. These programs are open to all; they will be especially beneficial to 12-Step members.

Durga (Cathy O'Neill) has been involved with the 12-Step fellowship for more than 8 years, leading retreats internationally on the Yoga of Recovery. She is a yoga teacher and Clinical Ayurveda Specialist, trained in both the USA and India.

Friday, February 11th, 2011:
7:30-9pm FREE Introductory Talk
Yoga and Ayurveda and 12-Step: The integrated treatment of addiction and self-destructive behaviors in the 21st century

Saturday, February 12th, 2011:
10:30-12pm Yoga class
12-1pm Vegetarian Lunch
1-2:30pm Life is Relationship (the roots of our addictive behaviors)
3-5pm Addiction's energetic movement: down and out

Sunday, February 13th, 2011:
9-10:30am Ayurveda: The Addictive Tendencies of the Doshas
10:30-12 Yoga class
12pm-1pm Vegetarian Lunch
1pm-2:30pm Ayurvedic nutrition: an uplifting diet to support recovery
3-4:30pm 12 Steps and the 4 Paths of Yoga.

Cost: $108 for whole program with pre-registration. Individual workshops $25. Saturday all day $50, Sunday all day $75.
