Satsang takes place at 1246 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. and lasts approximately 90 minutes.

Open and beginner classes are 90 minutes long, and advanced classes are 120 minutes long. All meet at our teaching annex at 1207 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.
Gentle class is a 60 minute class and takes place at 1246 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.

Open  This 90-minute standard class, open to all, meets at our teaching annex at 1207 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. The class includes pranayama (breathing exercises); a regular series of asanas, including sun salutations; and relaxation. Students are advised to take a beginners' course before attending an open class. Not suitable for complete beginners.
 
Beginner  This 90-minute class, which meets at our teaching annex at 1207 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., follows the basic open-class format but with a gentler and slower approach specially geared to students who are new to Yoga and those who are taking or have taken our Beginner course and do not yet feel ready to join the open classes.
 
Advanced In this 2-hour class, which meets at our teaching annex at 1207 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., the postures are held longer, and some variations of the basic asanas are practiced. We recommend taking the Beginner course part 2 as preparation.
 
Gentle Gentle Yoga is for those challenged by age or inactivity. The class includes instruction in basic yoga postures to enhance range of motion, strength and balance. Poses are adapted and modified so the student can maintain a steady, comfortable posture. The class also includes guided breathing techniques, deep relaxation, and meditation to help cultivate an easeful body and peaceful mind. 60 minute class, held at 1246 w. Bryn Mawr Ave.
 
Satsang
Group meditation, or satsang, is a gathering for spiritual practice and includes guided silent meditation (30 minutes), devotional chanting of Sanskrit mantras (around 30 minutes), a talk or reading on a spiritual topic, and prayers for peace. It is held at 1246 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., all are welcome, there is no charge for attendance.
 
Puja

Puja is a traditional Hindu worship ritual, we practice is here as taught by our founder, Swami Vishnudevananda. Different divine energies are invoked, and worship takes place with the offering of milk, water, flowers and incense. Traditional Sanskrit mantras are chanted. This is considered to be a form of devotional meditation. Puja is done at 1246 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., all are welcome, there is no charge for attendance.

 
Gita Study The Bhagavad Gita is one of the most important Hindu scriptures.This class meets every week for guided study. Students are free to join at any point. Please check for availability of this class which happens on most, but not all, Fridays
