How to Start
Yoga 1
An introduction to the theory and practice of yoga for beginners with emphasis on proper exercise (asanas), proper breathing (pranayama), relaxation (savasana); the 12 basic postures and Surya Namaskar (sun salutations).
The course consists of 12 classes on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday over 3 weeks. Weekend courses run for 6 weeks on Saturday and Sunday.
Class duration: 1½ hours.
Course donation: Rs 750
A further one week Open Class pass is included in the course donation.

Yoga 2
A review of the 12 basic postures and pranayama with some added variations. The course includes longer holding and the opportunity to try more advanced postures. This course is the next step for those who have completed Yoga 1 or are returning to their practice after a break.
Students must have completed the Yoga 1 beginners course.
Class duration: 1½ hours
Course donation: Rs 750

Free Trial Class
If you would like to try a class before registering for a course, please come along to the free weekly trial class each Sunday at 4 pm.
We recommend you do not eat for 2 -3 hours before a class and wear loose, comfortable clothing.
Class duration: 1½ hours.
