These workshops will introduce the teachings of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita or Gita, one of the core scriptures of Yoga. The Gita is a conversation between Pandava Prince Arjuna and his teacher Krishna on a variety of philosophical concepts. It upholds the essence and the philosophical tradition of the Upanishads. Swami Narayanananda will be reading from the Bhagavad Gita, taking inspiration from the important verses and connecting them with struggles we face in everyday life. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss in detail some of the teachings to gain a better understanding of Yoga and Vedanta. Register

During this week, Swami Sitaramananda will discuss the application of the classical 4 paths of Yoga in daily life, leading to a fulfilled life and spiritual progress. Swami Sitaramananda is Director of the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm in Grass Valley, California, an acharya (spiritual teacher) of the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres, and a direct disciple of Swami Vishnudevananda.
