The Beginners Course provide a sound foundation for the basic Sivananda yoga class. Students are taken through the class step-by-step in a small group, with explanations of the postures and breathing exercises which allows for more personal one-to-one corrections. This is open to anyone who is completely new to yoga, new to the Sivananda class, or anyone who would like to go back to the basics. The course is structured over 6 classes, meeting two times a week for three weeks. Advance registration is necessary.
Please note that a Beginners Course will start on the Tuesday following each Open House

Please wear loose comfortable clothing. We strongly recommend that you bring your own mat but we do supply cushions, and mats if available.
