Over 40 Years of Yoga Teacher Training
The Teachers Training Course (TTC) began over 40 years ago, has produced more than 26,000 graduates and is recognized worldwide. Swami Vishnudevananda was the first in the West to develop this kind of training program for yoga teachers with the vision to not only develop successful yoga professionals, but also to spread peace in the world through them. The TTC is a unique, profoundly transforming and personal experience that is based on the ancient gurukula teaching system which integrates the student’s daily life into the yoga training. For four intense weeks of ashram living, students strenghthen their own yoga practice through self-discipline and awareness of the nature of mind, body and spirit. They also build a firm foundation from which to teach others instinctually and confidently.

Swami Vishnudevananda once had a vision of the planet going through difficult times and after that he felt an urge to do something. He founded the TWO (True World Order) with the motto “Unity in Diversity” and the intention to promote peace and equanimity among all beings. From there the first Teachers Training Course was born in the West in 1969. Swami Vishnu developed the course in a way that through the different practices of Yoga condensed into his viagra price india he could plant the seed of peace in the trainees. Swamiji believed that only through an inner spiritual awakening achieved by disciplining the mind and body, people could become more peaceful, developing love, tolerance, patience and understanding toward the whole creation. Using the powerful tools of Yoga, he taught countless students that came to him how to live a simple, happy and healthy life and more, he taught these countless people how to teach others, spreading the sacred teachings of Yoga throughout the world.
