  • Kids Yoga

    Kids YogaChildren today have lots of demands. Homework, pressure to compete with other children, endless after school activities, over-scheduling - it all adds up. Yoga helps them develop better body awareness, self-control, flexibility and coordination. They can carry these skills beyond class and into their daily routines. Practicing Yoga when young gives a child the best foundation in life. Kids Yoga includes Yogic postures, proper breathing, meditation, chanting and spiritual storytelling. Kids develop a love for nature, experience peace and inner silence and benefit from improved concentration and memory power.

    Classes are designed for 6 -12 year-olds.

    Sundays | 10 – 11.30am
    Price: 200 / per class or $ 800 for 5 class pass

    Please Note: Parents have the opportunity to take an Open Class from 10:00-11:30am

  • Prenatal Yoga

    The months of carrying a child are precious. You are engaged in the creation of a new life, not merely with your body, but with your emotions, mind and spirit. The practice of Yoga can help you prepare your mind and body for labour. Yoga postures are a gentle way of keeping your body active. The breathing techniques are useful during labour. Yoga also helps in restoring the shape of your body, uterus, abdomen and pelvic floor. Yoga can relieve upper back tension and breast discomfort after childbirth. This practice can begin after the first trimester.

    Please Note: Please consult your doctor before attending the course. Arrive at least 10-15 minutes prior to class. It is recommended not to eat one hour before class. Wear comfortable clothing.

  • Gentle Yoga – Yoga for Elderly

    Growing old is the stage when you have more time for yourself, your family, recreation and relaxation. However, it is also a time when you are more susceptible to ailments that are linked to age such as arthritis, rheumatism, incontinence and high blood pressure. Yoga is a form of exercise that adapts to your needs and abilities and deals with your whole being. It makes your body fitter, the mind calmer and can help you deal with emotional issues that are linked with age. It helps you to accept who you are, the state you are in and creates a positive approach in life. Classes are designed for senior citizens and those who want to take a more gentle class to improve general mobility, health and well-being.

    Private lessons for individuals seeking one-on-one attention for their yoga practice. Private Yoga lessons can be used to address concerns such as injuries, therapeutics, energy balancing, and can even be used to transform bad habits, including postural misalignments and behavioural patterns. The benefits of private lessons are immense in case of any medical ailments related to the body as it empowers you with the tools and practices customized to your unique needs.
