Practice to come in to & out of the posture with control, balance and grace.
Learn the numerous physical, mental and spiritual benefits of the posture, which are the reasons for the title "King of Asanas".
Hip Flexibility & Sitting Postures
Study basic anatomy of hip joints, lower back, knees and ankles.
Practice various hip opening postures and different sitting postures for Pranayama and Meditation, such as the famous lotus pose, padmasana.
Forward Bends in Detail
Practice a number of different forward bends to work on the whole body: neck, upper & lower back, hips, ankles
Learn the correct breathing and mental attitude towards forward bending.
Backbends in detail
Learn anatomy of backbends and techniques of coming in and out of postures gracefully
Practice correct alignment and application of strength to avoid injury & increase comfort and duration.
Sun Salutation
The Sun Salutation, originally a form of worship, is a holistic practice. The whole bein is set in motion, physically, mentally and spiritually.
Learn the correct alignment in each step, combined with correct breathing and mental awareness, which turns the practice into a meditative experience.
